ATM Security is one heated discussion

Security is a very important aspect of life. The rising theft and cyber crime has shaken the pillars of atm touch screen kiosk machine manufacturers. Therefore in last few years we have experience some extra important features for the sake of ATM security.
European resources have published about the fraud update for 2012. This news is based on country offense information given by legislative body of 18 countries, at the 28th EAST gathering held in Dublin. Skimming attacks were also reported on cash dispensing terminals at gas stations, ticket machines, at railway ticket machines and at retail payment terminals. The most common technique used by robbers goes with fork insertion into the cash machine while doing regular transactions.
After continuous thieving attempts on ticket vending & touch screen kiosks, most of the manufacturers have started to develop more secure designs to prevent this theft condition. It’s my personal experience which I am putting in front of you. Once I stopped near a gas station to take out some money out of the ATM. While I was operating the machine, two robbers came near to me and seized me on gum tip. That was the moment when I started to curse them in my heart and thought that about the pin code entry in opposite sequence. This opposite pin code series technique is a very safe option to apply because on doing so, without any delays ATM dispensed the cash and it was taken by me.
The punch point behind this story is that thieves were arrested from nearby location because of the security alert sending protocol to the police station on entering the pin code in reverse mode.
This trend is becoming popular among ATM users; most of the self service touch screen kioskproducers are adapting this feature to prevent any mishap.
